Artist Sashar Zarif discusses the profound events that have had an impact on his life, and how he ties these events in to his newest choreography and gallery instillation. He dicusses the layered program and how, as an Azerbaijani artist, he draws from personal experience to ponder how a series of migrations and cultural adaptations, which ended in Canada, has transformed into a new way of communication.

Through these four original works, two of which are world premieres, Zarif invites us to consider our own origins.
